EDITORIAL: signs of life

by jeffrey gormly

dear friends and colleagues
it just recently came to my attention that emails for editor@choreograph.net have not been reaching their destination. this is due to the changeover from my last working address at daghdha dance company in early summer of this year.

if you have submitted work or made contact in that time and had no response, please accept my apologies and please do send again. i will endeavour to acknowledge receipt of all mail within a week.

unfortunately in that time the site was also temporarily suspended, again due to a message not getting through from our hosting service. hopefully such incidents will not occur again.

this is a good opportunity for me to make clear that the site is not currently funded. we have been lucky enough to have our hosting quietly paid in recent years by various individuals or organisations. many thanks to them. i have not been paid for my work in 3 years or more. i have been happily busily lately engaged in paid work, and this dictates how much time i can devote to the site.

choreograph.net has grown to be a unique resource, carving out a whole new territory of concern and publishing unique voices. even when new work is slow to appear, there is a trove of material to explore. but as a space that hopes to facilitate movement, we try our best to keep things refreshed.

please keep with us, please connect us to more people, especially writers, and thank you for your support so far.

sincerely,
jeffrey gormly,
editor@choreograph.net
